Taos quilt top finish

So I have just finished sewing on the remaining borders for the "Taos" quilt and I think it looks fantastic.  I really wanted to challenge myself a bit and this pattern fit the bill.  Pinning and accurate seams were my best friend for this quilt.  I enjoyed working on it week by week as a Block of the Month quilt (Block of the week quilt???)  It was nice working on it in small doses, that way I didn't get frustrated or overwhelmed. 

 

 I used "Mirage" fabrics from www.connectingthreads.com for the colored fabrics and the cream background fabric was something I had in my stash.  I even have enough fabric leftover to maybe make a couple pillow shams, we will see later on.. For now it gets added to the "To be quilted" pile.  Does it ever get any smaller????
